Base Kombucha Kit (Purchase)

Description

This is the bare-bones kit, but it is still complete. Included:

• One (1) brewing jug (with breathable pro-aeorobic lid, aka a coffee filter)
• Starter
• Six (6) flip-top bottles
• Instructions
• Access to recipes and how-to videos

You will need to provide:

• Steeping vessel (the brewing jug cannot withstand boiling water)
• Tea (black, green, or white; Earl Grey does not perform well)
• Sugar (no substitutes: the bacteria and yeast do best with regular sugar)
• Funnel (for bottling)
• Hot water to make tea

Optional:

• Fruit juice (for the second fermentation)
• Thermometer or temperature strips
• pH strips
